First day of term 4. It wasn't to bad, mostly just more of the same.

Fixed the broken trusted_hosts setting in the SpamAssassin config at work. I ended up just specifying the private subnet with the two incoming MXes. The main Exchange boxen are untrusted, but they shouldn't be sending mail via the incoming MXes anyway. Got the DCC and Pyzor firewall ports opened. DCC has been matching a lot of spam. I haven't seen Pyzor hit anything yet, but it can certainly contact the remote server. nmap tells me so.

I continue to stay busy. Looked at airfares for Canada and found a nice combination of Air New Zealand and Air Canada. I'm going ahead with it, probably from the 22nd of December to the 4th of January including travel.

I got a promo DVD from Trent. Looks good, certainly tempts me to buy some of the previous releases. Perhaps it's a pertinent time of year to point out that The Fragile and Things Falling Apart are two Nine Inch Nails releases that I really enjoy (and don't own).
