I played hockey for the first time last night, it was great fun. I think I spent most of the first half thinking "I hope the ball doesn't come to me", but after going back on to the position of centre forward (not my choice, really) and getting a good run there was no turning back. Lucy thinks I'd be best at being an inner, sounds like something I'd be interested in. I used to be a defender in soccer, so it'd be a big change... but probably a good one. They're different sports for a start. Definitely looking forward to next week's game.

Perhaps I should comment on the Sony vs Stevens case. This time I would like to use Rusty's words:

Music and movie industries argue that copying == stealing, although it's obvious that the mere act of making a copy doesn't deprive anyone of anything. Removing the legitimate propery rights of others, however, is stealing, clear and simple. The courts have balked at supporting this theft; will the government?

Once again Groklaw has a brilliant article covering some of the recent FUD surrounding the OpenDocument format.
