w00t, I now have wireless using the internal hardware in my laptop and the bcm43xx driver. Here are some details for anyone who might want to get the same thing working: The machine is an Apple iBook G4 bought in late 2005, I have to set the rate to 11M and the essid, using iwconfig. It seems to help keep the connection alive to keep a ping going on in the background. I haven't tested WPA or WEP. There are reports of WPA and WEP working on the dev mailing list, but I just associate to an open AP that broadcasts its essid. In other news, I'm really enjoying Speak For Yourself by Imogen Heap.
