Does anyone else think we should get off Microsoft's back and just let them wither away peacefully? My main concern is that GPLv3 sounds like it's going to have a lot of language specifically directed at killing the infamous Microsoft/Novell deal that might be better spent printed on toilet paper.

With all this focus on killing the Microsoft/Novell deal, I hope we haven't become so narrow minded as to leave the door open for a bunch of spirit-of-the-law abuses of the GPL by other predators.
