Just when you thought "ASL" was the trademark of lamer Yahoo chat kiddies, Adobe took it and made it into something better — Adobe Source Libraries. The pimp on Slashdot makes it sound like something pretty cool. Given that it's a C++ GUI library, I'm interested... but I will, of course, be weighing it up against the incredibly cross-platform wxWidgets project.
